If you watch TV, visit the mall, or do anything at all...chances are you have seen the 3 famous letters, WWW!  So what does it all mean?  What is the deal with WWW, and what does it stand for?

Well, in general WWW, stands for "World Wide Web"!  Most people confuse the Internet with the World Wide Web.  However, there is a difference.  The Internet, is made up of thousands of computers that are connected World Wide.  (Check out the History Section).  WWW, a.k.a. World Wide Web, is what you computer uses to check out the Internet.  For example your computer uses Browsers, such as Internet Explorer or Netscape to let you see and hear all the cool pictures, information, music and sounds on the Internet.
